〔記者蔡孟尚／竹縣報導〕新竹縣政府表示，因應洽公民眾手機充電需求，在縣內52處公務櫃臺設置手機無線充電機，有需要的民眾只要把手機接上接收器，就可以一邊洽公、一邊充電了。
縣政府綜合發展處處長陳冠義說，手機無線充電機第1階段完成設置於縣府內各單位、稅捐局、環保局、文化局的演藝廳和服務台、衛生局、消防局、警察局、婦幼館、同心樓以及13鄉鎮市的戶政事務所、衛生所、地政事務所洽公櫃臺，另外在旅遊服務中心和竹東、合興、內灣動漫園區等旅遊服務據點也都有，使用一段時間後將評估效益，若民眾反應良好再擴大設置。
環保局長黃士漢說，無線充電可以減少耗材，而且在公共場所設備開放公用也頗有效率，這種作法是提倡環保概念的創新表率。
